On this second Sunday of Lent, I want to share with you that the Church sees Faith Formation as a
lifelong journey – it is not just for children, but for all of us. In fact, the bishops of the United States believe that the faith formation of adults should be our highest priority. That is why I urge you to make time to come to this week’s parish mission with Fr. John Anglin. Please join us this Sunday, Monday and Tuesday evening in the church at 7 p.m. I promise that you will learn more about your Catholic faith and find encouragement in living it out each day.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Our 5
th, 8
th, and 11
th grade faith formation classes will run over an extra 15 minutes on Sunday due to the annual ACRE survey. This is a diagnostic assessment tool for the diocese to evaluate our catechetical programming. I would like to thank our 5
th, 8
th, and 11
th grade families in advance for making sure that their students attend class and cooperate in completing the ACRE.
We have the best families here at Nativity!!! (This survey will also be given to the 5
th, 8
th, and 11
th graders who attend Family Faith Formation this Wednesday, March 15
th.)
Sacramental Preparation Reminder: Classes for First Eucharist are suspended for the Parish Mission (March 14) and Spring Break (March 21).
Sessions 3 will resume on Monday, March 27.
