There are no faith formation classes on Sunday morning this week for Spring Break.
On the third Sunday of Lent we celebrate the First Scrutinies with our newly “Elect.” Those are the 18 people who will be welcomed into the Church at the Easter Vigil Mass at 8 p.m. on Saturday, April 15 ^th. Please join me in praying for them as they prepare to become fully initiated Roman Catholics by being baptized, confirmed, and receive First Eucharist on that holy night.
 
Lord, we pray for those who are preparing to come into your Holy Church. Please help these Elect to be encouraged and not overwhelmed as they enter into these final days of preparation. Good Shepherd, we pray that you carry these baby lambs until they are old enough to stand. Through our love and example, keep them, protect them, and give them a love and knowledge of you. Amen.
 
Sacramental Preparation Reminder:  Classes for First Eucharist are suspended for Spring Break (March 21). Session 3 will resume on Monday, March 27.
