I hope you will join me today in praying for our Confirmation candidates who are on retreat this weekend. 

Lord, may your Holy Spirit enkindle in these candidates a thirst to know you, to love you, and to serve you. May the gifts they received at Baptism be strengthened and may they come to desire above all things to become disciples of your Son, Jesus Christ, who lives with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

First Eucharist sacramental preparation sessions will begin on Monday, February 27th at 6:30 p.m. in the church. Because the celebration of the Eucharist is the source and summit of our faith as Catholics, attendance at all four sessions is necessary for participation in the reception of the sacrament the weekend of April 29/30th. All R.C.I.A. catechumens must attend these sessions as well. Please note that there will be a two week break between the four sessions for the Parish Mission and Spring Break. Preparation sessins will take place on Feb. 27 & March 6, then again on March 27 & April 3. If you have any scheduling issues, please contact me.

LAST L.I.F.E. CLASS REMINDER: The annual class on Learning About L.I.F.E. (Love-Infatuation-Friendship-Exploitation) for 7th and 8th graders takes place today from 10:00-11:30 a.m. in the Parish Center. Due to the sensitive nature of this topic, all children must be accompanied by a parent.
