Our young people have been busy in their faith formation classes doing some wonderful hands-on activities. One class traced the journeys of Jesus on a present day world map. Another class made colorful stuffed fish filled with prayers and mounted them on a fishing net. Meanwhile, the 7
th and 8
th graders took a tour of the Ministry Fair last Sunday and practiced their interviewing skills while learning how they can begin to share their own time and talents. If you are feeling called by the Holy Spirit to share your love of Jesus Christ with others, please consider becoming a catechist. Jesus said, “Go and make disciples of all nations” (Matt. 28:19) and that is what volunteer catechists do -- they
echo the faith to others -- from the smallest pre-schooler to adults of all ages. To learn more about this ministry, please fill out one of the cards passed out in church today or stop by the Faith Formation Office. I will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
