A Note from our Faith Formation Director . . . REMINDER: There are no faith formation classes on Palm Sunday, (April 9th) or on Easter Sunday (April 16th). Sunday Faith Formation classes will resume on April 23rd. The next Wednesday Family Faith Formation will take place on April 5th at 5:30 p.m.
As we draw closer to Holy Week, the 18 individuals who have been preparing through RCIA* for close to a year to be received into the Catholic Church will be celebrating the last of the three Scrutinies with us this weekend at the 9:00 a.m. Mass. They are waiting with anticipation to receive the three sacraments of initiation at the Easter Vigil Mass on Saturday, April 15
th at 8:00 p.m. These sacraments of initiation are Baptism, Confirmation, and First Eucharist. Do you know what the other four sacraments are? Hint: there are two sacraments of service and two sacraments of healing. (See below for the answer!)**
Sacramental Preparation Reminder: The last sacramental preparation session for First Eucharist is this Monday evening, April 3
rd, at 6:30 p.m. in the church. The First Eucharist Retreat will take place on the morning of Saturday, April 22
nd from 8:30 a.m. until 12:15 p.m. Each student must be accompanied by a parent or other adult family member. Snacks will be provided.
