Today is the Second Sunday of Easter. It is also the Sunday of Divine Mercy. Pope St. John Paul II introduced the world to St. Faustina’s private revelations of Jesus’ divine mercy during his pontificate. This Friday I hope you will join me and our fellow parishioners here at Nativity Catholic Church for a one woman performance on the life of St. Faustina. Nancy Scimone will star as the humble Polish nun to whom Jesus appeared, in this live, costumed drama with musical accompaniment. The show will run from 7-8:30 p.m. and is appropriate for all ages. Since no tickets are required, feel free to bring your entire family, your neighbors, and your friends! Let Saint Faustina’s experience of Jesus’ divine mercy comfort and inspire you.
